- Intersite FrontPage Function: An important feature request has been implemented with respect to “multisite” interaction in DocuQuest. Organizations (particularly those who use GQI’s internet SharePoint servers) wishing for employees in one site to access documents in another sites without “first providing user access” for each employee can now do this without loss of security and with ease. read more »

Improvements
- The external notifiers field is now available for selection in the Issued documents views. Note: based on SharePoint design, multi-value fields cannot be sorted. We have included this field for display with the capability for “filtering” only with the sorting disabled.
- The search behavior is improved. Changes were made so that the enter key will execute the search function. In earlier versions, users were required to hit the “search button/magnifier glass”. read more »

DocuQuest:
- An archival schedule for documents has been created. This is useful if you wish to automatically remove a document from issued status to archived status based on a defined future date or an interval of days after the document is issued.
- ISOQuest now supports active and inactive users for both types of users – AD and membership (NON-AD). This means that employees who are no longer with the company can have their status changed to inactive status (archived, obsolete, on leave etc). read more »

- Improved navigation in finding and listing Personnel Profiles - users can now access/list Personnel Profiles by filtering using Name, Login, Department and Job – in addition to the native SharePoint search capabilities. Access these options in Personnel Profile list Action|Find Personnel Profile.
- In the Personnel Profile list, department is added as a column in the default view. read more »

Server side footers when viewing issued docs
Use this feature to show a rendered version of the document which auto generates user defined footers.

Footer settings:
Select one or more of the following settings to show in the footer.
Document title
Document issue date
Document reference and revision number
Document print date
Page X of YRendered File Format
The document can be presented in native MS Office or be presented in pdf format
- Pdf format of the rendered document be set up with print and copy restrictions
Applies to file types: Word and Excel and PDF

Gen 4 to Gen 3 Integration
Gen 4 to Gen 3 Migration - Removal of Additional Gen 3 Login

Please be aware that we have now deployed a new feature of Gen 4 to Gen 3 integration.
How does this help the user?
This REMOVES the additional login process for users who are already logged in to the Gen 4 application.
