Enhancements:

PeopleQuest:

  • Improved navigation in finding and listing Personnel Profiles - users can now access/list Personnel Profiles by filtering using Name, Login, Department and Job – in addition to the native SharePoint search capabilities. Access these options in Personnel Profile list Action|Find Personnel Profile.
  • In the Personnel Profile list, department is added as a column in the default view.
  • In organizations where hundreds of job requirements exist, native SharePoint search capabilities may be inadequate for rapid, precise search on Job Requirements. A new feature is added to find Job Requirements using any one of the following criteria – Name, Department, Personnel and Login. Access this feature in Job Requirements List Actions|Find Job Requirments.
  • Improved filtering of training records for users in the role of department administrators.
    • The options for departments and job titles and employees are now open for departmental administrators offering an improved multiple filter criteria for large data sets.
    • This capability has always been available for PeopleQuest site owners.

DocuQuest:

  • In ISOQuest FrontPage, end users can now access related documents and associated files are now nicely viewable from the parent document view.
  • An improvement in the SharePoint designer template for the ISOQuest FrontPage now allows the site admin to create web parts across the page to allow for greater flexibility in FrontPage look and feel.
  • Print capability is now available for the approval summary.
  • Approval emails contain links to the documents under approval. When the document is approved and is subsequently issued or if the document is deleted, any subsequent clicking of the link in the “old” approval email yields a raw error. An improvement is made which captures such raw errors and provide a friendlier system message.
  • An additional people picker is now available for selection of Notification to parties – where the available personnel are restricted to the department of the document. This is useful in large organizations.
  • An additional people picker is now available for selection of approvers – where the available approvers are restricted to the department of the document. This is useful in large organizations.
  • FrontPage queries filter documents by many meta data ( filter criteria). An improvement is made to “provide additional, finer definition of the query). We have always has the following 2 conditions – filter records by:
    •  Meets any criteria
    • Meets all criteria
    • A third condition is added:
      • Meets all criteria (Combine field values as ANY)

 General:

  • ISOQuest Version is now available in the Home Module site settings page.
  • A master switch is now available in the Home Module site settings page which turns off/on email delivery  on a per site collection level. This is useful for new deployments and qa environments where active mails are not desired.

Fixes:

  • A condition is fixed where under certain conditions - multiple, rapid "backdoor" edits of an issued document with a test assigned - resulted in multiple creation of test assignments.
  • The condition of weekly training mail reminders with links sending users to "no records" is resolved
  • A condition which erroneously required min 3 answer choices for a test is resolved
  • A condition which erroneously showed training records for employees in secondary jobs only is resolved
  • An error in the training record retrieval procedure is now resolved which caused the display of duplicate training records on certain conditions.
  • In DocuQuest, The FrontPage links show the documents issued one day sooner than the actual issued date according to the issued documents library – due to a date/time conversion issue. This is now resolved.
